The Veggie Seedlings in Schools program offers vegetable and herb seedlings to schools and early learning centres at no cost. These seedlings can be used to create fantastic, interactive food gardens – such as that of St Albans North Primary School (see image).
Each school/ early learning centre will receive:
- approximately 10 punnets of mostly veggies and some herbs
- a random selection of veggies and herbs.
- their seedlings delivered in approximately mid-October. You will be notified a couple of weeks prior to the delivery date.
The program is open to schools and early learning centres within Brimbank.
Please register your interest by emailing Environment@brimbank.vic.gov.au and provide your school’s/ early learning centre’s name, address, and contact person’s name and number before 5pm Monday 18 September.
