The Happy Wanderers are Taking Off in Keilor

This article was published on behalf of Impact Brimbank.

The Happy Wanderers are a growing group of local people who catch up for walks and outdoor get-togethers.

The group was designed out of the Impact Brimbank program which is led by local people who want everyone to have a chance to improve their health and wellbeing. The first activity the groupd designed is the walking and social group called the Happy Wanderers.

The Happy Wanderers catch up for walks and outdoor get-togethers and also plan picnics for the group to enjoy healthy food and a chat.

They meet at the Cliff Harvey Lagoon Reserve in Keilor (662-664 Old Calder Highway) on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am (beginning on 8th March until 28th June) and can catch-up afterwards with a free coffee voucher at a local coffee shop. The walks are around 45 minutes long, and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities. The Happy Wanderers will also look for other sites across Brimbank to explore.

Please note, to participate you must show proof of your Covid-19 vaccination status.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in joining as a participant or a leader (registered volunteer with Council), or if you have any questions please contact the Impact Brimbank Program Officer on 9249 4405.
