Council recently sent out its Animal Registration reminder letters to pet owners for the Animal Registration year 2024/2025.
It has come to our attention that these Reminder Notices included incorrect and mixed-up information which related to another animal, rather than to their own pet.
We are working hard to resolve the issue and have written to all affected people asking them to securely dispose of the incorrect letter and have now provided correct renewal details.
Council takes all privacy matters seriously and we apologise for this error, and for any concerns or inconvenience it may have caused.
