This year’s Be Bold Festival on Saturday 18 October in St Albans promises a dynamic and vibrant program that celebrates our community’s rich diversity.
Everyone is welcome to come along and have fun at this free of charge, all-ages family-friendly festival that brings the world to Brimbank.
The festival celebrates diversity through a fusion of everything from cultural cooking workshops to Polynesian, Bosnian, Aotearoa (New Zealand), Vietnamese and Spanish music and dance performances.
There will also be art displays, mask making, print making, traditional Maori poi making, yarn and stitch and recycled art workshops.
Discover the flavours, stories and community spirit on a morning food tour of St Albans or take your tastebuds on a tour of the globe as you grab a bite to eat from one of the food trucks.
Explore the Public Art Trail or immerse yourself in the art display by Ned Brook inside the gallery.
At Bowery Theatre, the Resonate youth arts showcase will dazzle and you’re encouraged to put on your biggest, brightest colours and enjoy the family dance party of Leigh’s Inferno.
Feel the beat at the silent disco, while the kids will have a ball with roving performers including circus acts, whip cracking, Dr Hubble Bubble, face painting, games and activities.
