Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre taking shape

There’s been lots of progress on construction of the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre in Keilor Downs.

Work on the base and structure of the 50 metre pool is almost complete.

From Taylors Road you can see the structural steel going up throughout the gymnasium and program room, including the roof.

The state-of-the-art Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre replaces the former St Albans Leisure Centre.

It will include:

  • a 50- metre
  • 10-lane swimming pool
  • two massive water slides
  • a wellness centre
  • 24- hour gym
  • community program room and more.

The centre will offer preventative health, education and social services, all under the one roof.

The project is on budget and on track for completion mid-2022, with work continuing under a COVID-19 Safe Plan.
