The Brimbank community has just passed the 80 percent mark for double vaccination.
The milestone is a significant one for Brimbank, which was behind the Victorian Government average as the State’s re-opening plans started rolling out.
Thanks to everyone in our community for its willingness to roll up its sleeves and get the #jabdone.
Reaching this target provides a level of protection for our loved ones as our community and our businesses open up after a difficult and long period.
However, with infection still in the community, it is important that we continue to:
- Get tested if you have symptoms
- Wash your hands regularly
- Cough/sneeze into a tissue
- Download your vaccination certificate
- Scan the QR code when entering businesses
- Get vaccinated if eligible
State vaccination centres and local community vaccination clinics are now accepting walk-ins wanting the vaccines.
Appointments also can still be made with local doctors and pharmacies.

Brimbank City Council understands the lasting impact of the pandemic on the socio-economic health and wellbeing of our businesses and community connections. We remain focused on supporting our community and will continue to work towards recovery.
