To help businesses stay open and COVID-safe, Council has extended the deployment of its COVID Business Support Officers until May 2022. The officers work across a range of Brimbank shopping strips and commercial precincts.
The COVID Business Support Officers are:
- Khoa Phan for the St Albans and Sunshine Town Centres
- Matthew McNamara for local activity centres.
Khoa and Matthew are engaging with businesses to provide information, guidance and support on how to operate in a COVID-safe way.
When businesses are COVID-safe, it helps keep our whole community safe from COVID-19.
Also, the State Government fine for COVID non-compliance is $1652. Business support officers help businesses avoid potential fines.
The officers will also outline other business support available during these difficult trading conditions.
