Brimbank Council is offering cat desexing at a discounted price, but only for a limited time.
Council has teamed up with The Vet Project to offer $75 cat desexing for Brimbank residents between September 23, 24 and 25 at Westvale Community Centre, 45 Kings Road, Kings Park.
All cats in Brimbank aged three months and over must be desexed, unless exempt.
Desexing your cat can reduce the risk of various health issues, including cancer and you’ll also:
• Reduce the number of impounded cats
• Prevent unwanted cat pregnancies, and
• Better manage strays
The price also includes free microchipping and free registration for your cat until 10 April 2026. There’s also an option to add on vaccinations for $40.
The program is only available to Brimbank residents with a limit of two per household.
