Donate now to our Giving Tree program

Brimbank residents can show kindness to those struggling in our community this festive season by donating non-perishable food and household necessities to our 2023 Giving Tree program.

This program, which is delivered in partnership with local charities, businesses and community organisations, runs until 23 December.

Suggested items to donate include:

  • tinned and dry beans
  • rice and pulses
  • peanut butter and other nut butters
  • sandwich/toast spreads
  • cereals and rolled oats
  • canned fruits
  • canned vegetables
  • crackers and muesli bars
  • packet and canned soups
  • canned tuna in water
  • vegetable oil
  • tea and coffee
  • dishwashing liquid
  • washing powder
  • toilet paper.

There are many people in our community who are struggling with the cost of living and buying essential food and household items.

Our Giving Tree Program is a practical way we can support our community and show kindness, because it’s important that we all look out for each other this festive season.

Special thanks to everyone who generously donates, and to our charity partners who are collecting and distributing these items to people in need.
