Stuck with household items and unsure of how to dispose of them in a safe and environmentally friendly way?
Bring them to a free, family friendly event hosted in partnership with local e-waste recycling specialists ReSource.
On the day you can bring along:
- E-waste: anything that plugs in or runs on batteries (TVs or computers)
- Batteries: all household types, including toys and appliances with built in batteries
- White goods: fridges and freezers
- Solar panels
- Mattresses (no bed bases)
- Soft plastics and polystyrene
- End-of-life textiles: clothing, shoes and bedding not suitable for donation
- Pots, pans
As well as being able to dispose of the household items listed above, you’ll find free services and activities to help you repair, recycle and learn, including electrical repair assessments and safety checks and educational displays.
When: Saturday 6 December, 10am-3pm
