Two outdoor precincts have been approved for Brimbank as part of the State Government’s COVIDSafe Outdoor Activation Fund.
The St Albans outdoor activation precinct will focus on the large central space within the Alfrieda Street roundabout. You will see new fencing, festive lighting, and additional seating and planting to create a space to enjoy COVIDSafe outdoor entertainment and activities in St Albans.
The Sunshine outdoor activation will focus on City Place and Sun Crescent, with parklets on both City Place and Sun Crescent, footpath artwork, and a new pop-up park on the corner of Sun Crescent and Watt Street.
The ‘Enjoy Local’ COVIDSafe events and activities that are running across Brimbank are also supported by this State Government funding. The funding will deliver 80 events across 31 places around Brimbank.
You will see roving performers, live entertainment, children’s activities and temporary lighting installations liven up Brimbank.
Enjoy Local kicked off at the start of December and is running until June this year. Search for “enjoy Local” events on the Brimbank Council website for more details.
