About this event

Join Katrina Forstner from Buzz & Dig to learn about the amazing world of native bees, pollination, and urban biodiversity. This workshop aims to bring joy and wonder to children in as they self-discover insect biodiversity and urban sustainability.

Please bring a clean food grade 400ml metal can (eg. Coconut milk, tomato, beans) to build your bee hotel. Please do not bring a pet food can or one with a sharp jagged edge.

In this workshop, families/ children will:

  • learn about native bees and their habitat,
  • learn about the importance of bees and pollination,
  • and make a bee hotel with natural and recycled materials to take home.

Registrations essential.
