There’s never been a better time to improve energy efficiency in the home, make the switch to energy efficient, all-electric appliances and power your home with renewable energy.
Join us for an afternoon of informative and fun workshops about converting or building an all-electric home. The event will be held at Kororoit Creek Neighbourhood House- Brimbank Council’s model all-electric facility!
Energy consultant and author, Richard Keech, will kick off the afternoon with the nine steps to going all-electric in your home followed by a Q&A session.
Then community food sharing organisation, Open Table, will heat turn up the heat with an induction stove-top cooking demonstration, while showcasing some great ideas for reducing food waste.
Richard Keech runs New Energy Thinking where he consults on building energy efficiency and renewable energy. He is author of the book Energy Freedom Home published by Scribe and a co-moderator of the popular My Efficient Electric Home Facebook group.
Open Table is a not-for-profit community organisation focused on preventing food insecurity and food waste. They use food that would otherwise go to waste to share free, fresh food through regular community lunches and food relief programs.
