Free sustainability incursions for schools – Apply by 7 March

Council is funding CERES incursions for a limited number of schools (max 2 classes per school) in Brimbank. Suitable for Grades 3-10. Incursions must occur in Term 1 or 2, 2025.

Incursion topics include:

  • Towards zero waste: explore a zero waste journey, turning waste impacts into valuable resources and fostering practical change.
  • Restoring Earth’s ecosystems: Deepen students’ understanding of ecosystems, explore the impacts of human interactions and problem-solve to enhance biodiversity.
  • Farming for our future: explore how organic, local systems can regenerate ecosystems, culture and community.
  • Caring for climate and change: grasp the link between energy production and climate change, and problem-solve to explore solutions.
