March is Kindergarten Readiness Month, and Council is hosting a series of kindergarten open days and face-to-face information sessions to help families register their children for sessional kindergarten.
Come along and explore your local kindergarten, meet teachers, ask questions and gather information to help choose which kindergarten to enrol your child. Bookings are not required.
These information sessions and open days will help families learn everything about the kindergarten registration process for three and four-year-old funded sessional kindergarten in Brimbank.
Kindergarten is important for a child’s learning and development in the years before they start school. It helps children learn essential skills for life.
Register now
Three and four-year-old children can access kindergarten either through sessional kindergarten or through long day care/childcare centres.
Registrations for three and four-year-old sessional kindergarten are administered by Council and can be completed online on our Kindergarten webpage.
2026 kindergarten registrations are now open. There are limited sessional kindergarten places and Council uses a priority of access criteria in line with the Department of Education’s Central Registration and Enrolment Scheme Best Practice Guidelines to place children.
