Grants worth $5,000 for youth focused projects on offer

Groups working with Brimbank’s young people are encouraged to apply for funding of up to $5,000 through the 2022 Brimbank Community Fund (BCF) grants program.

This year’s grants focus on the community priorities of youth wellbeing and mental health. This includes projects that:

  • improve the education, employment and wellbeing of Brimbank’s young people
  • Improve services and support, promote mental wellness and services that specifically address mental health issues for all ages
  • services that provide practical support and encourage social cohesion for young people to socially engage in the community.

 

The BCF will offer up up four single year project funding grants of up to $5,000 per project. Organisations that are seeking smaller amounts are also encouraged to apply.

The Brimbank Community Fund is guided by an independent committee of voluntary local leaders supported by the Brimbank City Council and the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation.
