I am a long-time resident of Brimbank, I have a young family and love calling Brimbank home.

I believe our City’s greatest strength is our diverse multicultural community, and the local talents within it. We have middle class and working people who share a strong spirit and a solid work ethic.

I’ve worked in the government sector for about two decades and now as a Councillor, I have a wonderful opportunity to bring a different perspective to the community.

I believe it’s critical to establish good, sound governance and guidelines for current and future growth.

I hope to ensure our sustainability urban development strategy will be entrenched in any city future planning policy. This should be a strategy that embraces all three pillars of social, economic and environmental sustainability. By embracing all three pillars, we can put our city on the right track for all future projects, infrastructure and developments.

My greatest concern for Brimbank is that not enough attention and investment is being allocated to our great city by various level of governments. However I am pleased to be part of a Council that is working actively to get more investment and funding for Brimbank.

Recently I was pleased to be one of the Councillor team who attended the Australian Local Government Association National General Assembly in Canberra, to advocate for investment in Brimbank.

I believe in getting on with the job and overcoming hurdles, and this is my approach to working to make Brimbank a better place for all.

We’re certainly living through challenging times and I’d like to congratulate everyone on doing their best to adapt to changing conditions and the COVID-19 restrictions. Please continue to follow the advice of the health authorities and take care of yourself.

I’m always happy to hear from residents so if you have something to discuss please get in touch.
