You’re invited to have your say as we help secure Greater Melbourne’s water supply for the next 50 years, through the draft ‘Water for Life’ strategy.
Victoria’s climate is becoming hotter and drier, and our region’s population is set to double by 2070, meaning more people relying on our precious supply of water.
The strategy – developed by Greater Western Water, Yarra Valley Water, South East Water and Melbourne Water – recognises water’s role in supporting green community spaces, and our economy via industry and food production. Water is also central to cultural values for Traditional Owners and connection to Country.
