Why are there changes to parking in my street?

Parking needs change over time as suburbs grow and develop. We are seeking to address parking issues caused by Sunshine Hospital visitors, commuters at Ginifer Station and local school traffic to ensure fair and efficient access to parking for residents.

A Car Parking Management Plan refers to the parking laws and restrictions applied to individual streets to improve parking efficiency and compliance.

Council has reviewed parking restrictions within 1km of Sunshine Hospital and 500m around Ginifer Station and is now looking at how to address parking issues in these areas.

Your feedback will help us address these parking issues and help inform the draft Car Parking Management Plan for Council-managed on-street parking to better meet community needs.

How can I share my feedback?
