Help shape Brimbank’s new Climate Emergency Strategy

We’re working on our new Climate Emergency Strategy.

Because climate change affects us all, it’s important that the Brimbank community have a say.

In March and April, we’ll be asking you to tell us what you understand about climate change, what concerns you most about its impact on the environment and what actions you want Council to take. This will help us understand the key priorities of the new strategy.

In Brimbank, we know that our community is committed to taking action to look after the environment and already feel the effects of heat waves.

Climate action is about halting climate change through reducing our use of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases and transitioning to renewable energy. It’s also about adapting to a world that we know will be affected by climate change that’s already happening.

We’d love to hear your thoughts and here’s a few ways you can have a say.
