How do you access Council’s community services?
Perhaps you’re a regular at the local library, where you go to read, study or job hunt. You might like to meet up with friends for activities at your Neighbourhood House or Community Centre. Or perhaps you have a young family and take your baby to see the nurse at one of the many Maternal and Child Health centres.
These are all examples of Council owned infrastructure which support the delivery of community services.
The Community Services and Infrastructure Planning Policy was adopted by Council in 2018 and it guides how Council plans, delivers and maintains community infrastructure in Brimbank.
At the February Council Meeting a revised draft Community Services and Infrastructure Planning Policy was endorsed for consultation with the community.
The consultation is open for four weeks from 8 March to 8 April 2024. We want you to read the revised draft Community Services and Infrastructure Planning policy and tell us what you think.
All comments, suggestions and feedback will be considered before the updated Community Services and Infrastructure Planning policy is put to Council in mid-2024.
