Hidden Gem – Discover The Bold Source

Following the launch of the first issue in 2020, issue two has the theme Transformation and metamorphosis and explores the impact of COVID in 2021 on the lives of young citizens in Brimbank.

The second issue of The Bold Source includes written and visual content; a long form interview with local media personality and East African Women’s Foundation member, Najma Sambul; as well as Stories from COVID, artworks from primary school aged students at Western English Language School.

The Bold Source is a youth-led initiative by Council, giving young people of Brimbank the opportunity to gain hands on experience creating, curating and editing a magazine.
