Join the Brimbank Community Solar Program

Going solar is a great way to save money on electricity bills and support Brimbank’s efforts to tackle the climate emergency.

Brimbank residents and businesses can purchase solar panels and renewable energy upgrades through the Council-supported, Brimbank Community Solar Program.

The project is being delivered in partnership with community solar specialist More Australian Solar Homes (MASH), a program of the non-profit Central Victorian Greenhouse Alliance.

As part of the program, residents and businesses can attend an online workshop for support and advice about installing solar panels or battery storage; and buy a solar system with installation through an accredited local supplier.

For every solar system installed through this program, MASH will donate one per cent of its value towards the installation of a solar system for a community organisation in the City of Brimbank.

The program is open to homeowners, renters, landlords and businesses in Brimbank.

Visit the Brimbank Community Solar website to learn more about the program and register your interest to attend a workshop.
