Vietnamese families together

Kết nối tai Brimbank! Connect in Brimbank!

Extended Families Australia and Brimbank Council are working together with local community activity providers in 2023 to host a series of four Come and Try Community events for Vietnamese youth and youth adults with a disability, their parents and siblings who live in Brimbank!

All events are inclusive, family friendly, low cost and supported by experienced bi-lingual disability inclusion staff. They will take place in Brimbank during school holiday times and are designed to help young people and families who may be experiencing a degree of isolation to try out new activities, have some fun and connect with others and the wider community!

If you have a disability, live in Brimbank, are of Vietnamese cultural background, and are under the age of 25  – please contact us to obtain a program brochure and find out more about our eligibility and enrolment procedures.  Enrolments should be submited by end of January 2023. Participants do not require an NDIS plan to take part in this program but must be accopmanied to events with a parent or carer.
