My husband Domenic and I built our home twenty two years ago in Taylors Lakes. We moved into a lovely court which gave us an opportunity to get to know our neighbours a little more.
Helen, one of my neighbours quickly come over to introduce herself. We have been neighbours for 22 years and have seen our children grow up and shared many milestones together. Our families built a wonderful friendship throughout the years. Helen and Nick’s friendship in particular, has meant a lot to us.
There are a few significant ways that Helen contributes to the community. She helps her fellow neighbours come together on Neighbourhood Day, organises Christmas catch ups and ensures that children have treats on Halloween. During the covid-19 pandemic lockdowns, Helen would show up on the door step of her neighbours with a pot of soup. Helen has a big heart of gold and always goes that extra mile when it comes to doing good deeds for others.
I cannot list all the amazing things this beautiful lady does, but would love Helen to be acknowledged for all her acts of kindness, and for making our street a safe, happy and better place to live.
