NAIDOC Week in Brimbank Get Up Stand Up Show Up 3-10 July 2022

NAIDOC Week in Brimbank

So many ways to celebrate NAIDOC week in Brimbank.

NAIDOC Week celebrates the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Council is holding a range of events that are no charge and open to all.

This 2022 theme is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! This is about amplifying the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and closing the gap between aspiration and reality, between good intentions and outcomes, based on justice, equity and the recognition of rights.

The week is celebrated not only in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. It’s a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and show your support.
