New funding for Keilor Lodge Reserve

Brimbank Council has welcomed a $500,000 grant from the Victorian Government’s World Games Facilities Fund to upgrade sports facilities in Brimbank.

Brimbank Mayor, Cr Jasmine Nguyen welcomed the announcement:

“This funding is wonderful news and will be used for lighting upgrades and pitch reconstruction at Keilor Lodge Reserve, home of the Sydenham Park Soccer Club in Taylors Lakes.

“It adds to the $907,380 that has been included in Council’s Capital Works Program towards this upgrade.

“The funding will give grassroots football the support it deserves, and fast track facility upgrades for our growing community.

“Brimbank Council will continue advocating for our community and providing opportunities to increase participation in community sport.

“We thank the Victorian Government for their ongoing investment in sports infrastructure and helping our community play the sports they love.”
