Presented in partnership with My Smart Garden and Brimbank, Hobsons Bay, and Maribyrnong Councils, Olives to Oil Westside are a series of events run by CERES, bringing people together to harvest olives and have them pressed communally into delicious, local olive oil. Drop off your olives at one of our local drop-off days and pickup your communally pressed olive oil at our Festival on Sunday 1st June.
If you don’t have any olives to harvest, you are still welcome to register to come along to the free Festival on Sunday 1st June, or register to attend our Harvesting and Preserving Workshop on Wednesday 14th May at Westvale Community Centre.
Book a time to bring your olives to one of the following locations:
- Olive Drop-off: Newport Community Hub, 13/15 Mason St, Newport VIC on Sunday 11th May 11am-3pm.
- Olive Drop-off: Visy Cares Hub, 80B Harvester Rd, Sunshine VIC on Sunday 18th May 11am – 3pm
