Eligible not-for-profit organisations and community groups can apply to share in a pool of $600,000 in the Brimbank Community Grants Program 2025/2026, for projects that support and strengthen the community.

Applications for the Annual Community Grants are now open, and close on Sunday 22 June 2025.
Brimbank Mayor, Cr Thuy Dang said I strongly encourage local community groups to apply for a Community Grant this year.
“Council’s Community Grants Program provides financial support to not-for-profit organisations and community groups to deliver projects and events to help strengthen and benefit the broader Brimbank community.
“Our Community Grants Program focuses on priorities in Brimbank including mental health, climate emergency, youth engagement, seniors’ involvement and building community connections.
“We look forward to supporting many wonderful and important initiatives that will help our Brimbank community grow and thrive”, Mayor Dang said.
Council is once again offering extra support to help groups maximise their chances of a successful application. This includes grants writing workshops, information sessions, drop-in sessions during May and June and access to council officers to help with questions and their applications.
