Presenting the best of Brimbank

The best of Brimbank’s organisations have been named at the fourth annual We Are Brimbank Awards.

The awards celebrate the pride and potential of Brimbank. They recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of organisations and community groups making a positive difference within Brimbank.

Six organisations or groups within Brimbank received an award at the special online event last night (27 October 2021), which was hosted by Mayor Cr Ranka Rasic.

A panel of independent community leaders chose the winners from a pool of nominations made by the community.

The winners display an impressive combination of passion and hard work within the Brimbank community, each rising to the challenges of the past two years.

“The pandemic has created extra challenges for all communities on a global and local scale. Now, more than ever, Council would like to thank the nominated organisations and community groups for their efforts, resilience and commitment during these difficult times,” Cr Rasic says.
