Recognising Brimbank’s volunteers

More than 360 people volunteer their time with Brimbank City Council.

You can find volunteers of all ages and backgrounds involved in a wide range of programs including:

  • Libraries — reading programs, home library service, book clubs and craft groups
  • Friends Groups
  • Social support groups
  • Neighbourhood Houses assisting with programs, walking groups, activities and playgroups
  • Community Register phone welfare checks

Volunteering can be a pathway to employment, enhancing skills, learning new ones, connecting with your community, making new friends and getting those good vibes from helping others.
