Four Resource Recovery Hubs have been installed this week for residents to conveniently drop off broken or unwanted household electronics and small appliances.
The following items can be dropped off:
- Small electrical appliances (eg – kettle, iron, toaster)
- Small electronics (eg – phones, tablets, gaming devices, digital cameras)
- CDs / DVDs and cases
- Power cables
Visit our Resource Recovery Hubs:
- Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre (Keilor Downs)
- Westvale Community Centre (Kings Park)
- West Sunshine Community Centre (West Sunshine)
- Brimbank Community and Civic Centre (Sunshine)
Council has partnered with a local social enterprise to reuse and repurpose as many items as possible. If items cannot be repaired, they will be recycled.
