Join in on Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 1 March 2026, as our community comes together to care for the places we love. We can make a real difference by removing litter and leaving our environment cleaner and healthier for everyone.
Residents, schools, community groups and businesses in Brimbank can join with hundreds of thousands of volunteers across the country for this great initiative.
By giving a few hours of your time, you can help:
- Keep our parks, streets and waterways clean
- Protect local wildlife
- Prevent pollution, and
- Show pride in where we live.
Brimbank Mayor Cr Virgina Tachos says that these local events provide an opportunity for residents to take part in cleaning up their local area.

“I’d like to encourage our community to get out there and lend a helping hand. Everyone’s efforts will help to reduce litter in and make Brimbank a cleaner, more enjoyable place to be.”
