Staying safe with COVID-19 in the community

Brimbank has a very high COVID-19 vaccination rate, but it’s up to us to keep our community safe as we continue to live with this highly infectious virus.

As we enjoy all that makes Brimbank great, we need to connect with each other respectfully and safely.

The things we can do to help our loved ones stay safe and reduce the risk of transmission include:

  • Even if you’re fully vaccinated, please stay home if you’re unwell.
  • Get tested if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, however mild.
  • Check-in to businesses and workplaces to help with notification of everyone at risk when there is a possible COVID-19 infection.
  • If you test positive to COVID-19, tell your work, your family and those you’ve spent time with so they can get tested too.
  • If you haven’t already, get your COVID-19 vaccination or your booster.
  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Wear a mask when required.

It’s up to us to keep our community safe as we continue to live with COVID-19.

Together we’ll look after each other.

Watch this video for a reminder about some of the actions we can take as a community.
