Experience a guided walk at one of the biggest conservation reserves in Brimbank, Sydenham Park.
The walk will be held on Thursday 21 April 2022 from 5-7pm and will be led by Brimbank City Council officers alongside Ecologist, Lauren Tworkowski from Southern Fauna & Ecology.
This is a great opportunity to experience the park which is not yet open to the public.
We’ll wander down the reserve tracks at twilight keeping an eye out for the local wallabies, possums and kangaroos, before we get the spotlights out once the sun goes down to see who else might be hiding in the trees and shrubs. With any luck, a wedge-tailed eagle might fly over us!
Please remember to wear a sturdy shoes as we’ll be walking up and down some steep tracks, as well as a jacket to stay warm. We also recommend bringing along a torch if you can.
Bookings are essential.
