For community safety purposes, Sydenham Library will close temporarily from Wednesday 15 to Friday 17 June, to undertake shelving works.
It is anticipated the library will re-open to customers at 10am on Saturday 18 June.
The new library shelving works will provide:
- improved shelving layout and accessible heights, to allow all members of the community to access the collection
- bigger, flexible spaces for library-run events, and
- more options for community members to attend programs in their own local areas.
While the shelving works are underway you will have access to:
- click & collect library borrowing and printing services between 9.30am and 5pm
- general information assistance from staff in the foyer area from 9.30am-5pm
- study and computer areas upstairs at Sydenham Neighbourhood House, with library staff available for assistance between 9.30am-5pm
- 24-hour access to the book return chute for returning library items
- Extended loans for borrowed items that would have been due during the shelving works
- 24-hour access to the Online Library where you can continue to access our online resources.
