Now in it’s fourth year, the We Are Brimbank Awards celebrate the pride and potential of our city. The awards publicly recognise the exceptional contributions, hard work and determination of organisations and groups that make a positive difference within Brimbank.
The Inclusive Brimbank Award represents an outstanding contribution to promoting participation in community life and supporting proud, safe and healthy citizens. This year’s winners are local humanitarian organisation, Inspire Hope.
Inspire Hope bring relief and support to the most vulnerable members of our community. They do this by providing the basic essentials and food supplies, and providing vital emotional support.
Through this support, Inspire Hope empowers those experiencing disadvantage to take control of their lives. The assist in engaging with service agencies.
Throughout the pandemic, Inspire Hope assisted rough sleepers in Brimbank. They did so by providing quick responses to requests for food, clothes, phone credit and even hotel accommodation.
Inspire Hope also run a regular BBQ event in St Albans, which provides an opportunity for the disadvantaged to maintain connections.
They have made a significant impact on the lives of many vulnerable people. Their commitment to helping people with love and a smile has helped many survive this difficult period.
They seek to assist in the growth of a stronger thriving community that will serve future generations.
