Western United to support local business with new partnership initiative

Small businesses of the west will have the chance to win a season partnership with Western United FC in a show of support from the club for businesses doing it tough during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launched last week, the ‘Top Corner’ small business partnership will give one deserving business of the west the opportunity to be part of the Western United family for the upcoming A-League season.

The lucky winner will be gifted a partnership package valued at $50,000 for the 2021/22 A-League season. The package includes match day signage and digital display, memberships, tickets to Chairman’s Club, publicity opportunities with players and much more.

Chris Speldewinde, Western United General Manager Commercial said:

“These times have been tough on so many people, including the many small businesses of the west. We know that a lot of businesses are doing all they can to survive and keep afloat – and we know it’s the little guys that are really hurting.

“As a community minded club, we want to continue to give back and offering businesses the chance to be part of our season as a partner felt like a great opportunity.

“This initiative will allow access to our network and provide the lucky business with opportunities to really amplify their reach via all of our digital and commercial avenues.

“I encourage all local businesses in the west to throw their hat in the ring,” Speldewinde concluded.

How to enter.

To enter the promotion, simply head to wufc.com.au and visit the Top Corner promotion page.

Check the eligibility criteria and if your business meets them, submit the online application form to apply.

Three lucky businesses will then be selected at random as finalists and be asked to submit a video pitch outlining why they should be chosen.

Western United fans will then be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite pitch on social media.
