You’re invited to have your say on Brimbank City Council’s draft Integrated Transport Strategy

Local residents, businesses and community groups are invited to have their say on the future of transport in Brimbank, with the release of the draft Moving Brimbank – Integrated Transport Strategy for consultation.

Developed by Brimbank City Council, the strategy provides a long-term plan to improve how people, goods and services move across the municipality, with a focus on accessibility and connectivity.

Built around the pillars of connectivity, liveability and equity, the strategy sets a vision for 2050 and responds to key challenges including population growth, car reliance, safety and emissions. It also recognises opportunities linked to improved public transport and the role of Sunshine as a central transport hub.

Brimbank Mayor Cr Virginia Tachos said the strategy sets a clear path forward and sets a clear vision for a more connected, accessible and sustainable transport network.

“We know how people move around Brimbank has a big impact on daily life. We need community input to understand local transport needs and priorities.

“This strategy is about improving connections while making our streets safer, more inclusive and more enjoyable for everyone.”
