Creating better parks

Since 2008 more than $38 million has been invested in Brimbank’s parks.

These improvements have been delivered as part of the multi-award winning Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan.

The goal of Creating Better Parks is to have a park within 500 metres of every home in Brimbank.

Our park network includes:

  • 7 Flagship Parks
  • 29 Suburban Parks
  • 120 Neighbourhood Parks
  • 100 Local Reserves

Flagship parks are the biggest parks in Brimbank. Local reserves are smaller areas for local communities to enjoy.
