Newly upgraded Station Waters Reserve in Cairnlea

Another beautiful green space opens for the community to enjoy.

Newly upgraded Station Waters Reserve, in Cairnlea offers more access to nature, while helping to support our community’s health and wellbeing.

The new facilities include a playground that features a flying fox, a tower and climbing structure. There’s also a swing set, and upgraded picnic area with new shelter, BBQ and seating, as well as two new fitness stations around the lake – something for everyone to enjoy.

Plenty of space for play, exercise, and to connect with people.

Brimbank Council has invested $500,000 in upgrading this reserve and improving the much-needed community space.

Improving open spaces and promoting physical and mental health is an important focus for Brimbank Council.

For over a decade now, Council’s award-winning Creating Better Parks Policy and Plan is breathing new life into Brimbank’s park network.

Since adopting the policy in 2008, we’ve upgraded 151 parks and playgrounds in Brimbank.

We will continue to deliver more award-winning open spaces that help our community lead healthier, happier and better lives.
