Share your thoughts and ideas on our draft Community Engagement Policy

We are reviewing our Community Engagement Policy and would love your feedback.

Your views are important in informing Council decisions, projects, policies and plans. The Policy will guide us on how we ask for your views on a range of local priorities. We want to ensure that all engagement we do is:

  • meaningful
  • transparent
  • aligned to best practices.

 We wrote the draft Policy based on:

  • our engagement principles
  • how we undertake community consultations
  • how you would like to take part in community consultations.

“We’re committed to a fair and transparent approach to engagement and ensuring all voices are heard when decisions are made,” said Brimbank Mayor Cr Ranka Rasic.

“Through this draft policy, we want to ensure the community feel involved and valued and help shape the way we engage with the community in the future.”

Providing feedback

Your feedback will help shape the way we make decisions about things that matter to you in Brimbank.

Feedback must be made by 3 March.
