Seniors gathered at the Keilor Golf Course for an Active Discovery Golf Event on Tuesday, 3 October where the Seniors Festival, during the month of October at venues across Brimbank City Council, was officially launched.
Now in its forty-first year, the Victorian Seniors Festival 2023 theme is Learn! Love! Live! Brimbank City Council is pleased and excited to be hosting various activities and events throughout October.
If you enjoy meeting new people, keeping fit and trying new activities, there is something for you!
There are movie screenings for film buffs, exercise classes at the Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre and a range of sports at the Keilor Basketball Stadium, including Pickleball, Walking Football and Walking Basketball
Various other events around Brimbank include weekly learning program at Brimbank Libraries designed for seniors to reflect on approaches to wellbeing, support health and help overcome isolation.
