Let’s All Move Together

Distinctive Options In Life, supported by Brimbank Council, are celebrating the International Day for People with Disability (3 Dec) with an inclusive leisure and movement event on Thursday, 30 November from 11.30 am to 3 pm at the Brimbank Aquatic and Leisure Centre.

Pictured above are Abby, Victoria, Josh and Sue, who are members of the DO Food Project Cafe, social enterprise, proudly supporting people with diverse abilities to develop workplace skills in a supported employment environment, who will be serving up tasty treats and refreshments on the day.

“The United Nations designated International Day for People with Disability is an opportunity to promote awareness, understanding and acceptance of disability in the community. What better way than to take part in sports and leisure activities in a supported environment at Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre,” said Ernie Metcalf CEO of Distinctive Options.

Come and have a game with us! Basketball, football, soccer, chair aerobics Zumba hip hop, art displays, musical performances, and more.

Passive and active activities. Carers welcome.
